Dior Homme Sport by Christian Dior

In a vial taken from Dior original, just highlighted in red, the house Dior offers us a Sport version, finding meaning here in the idea that one can get a shower in locker room after cleaning: clean and sanitized.

The departure opens with a burst of citrus notes and soap: lavender, grapefruit, ginger and elemi (resin to the smell of turpentine and lime), which literally put us in a can of San Marco anti-bacterial. Once these notes soaring, there is a dry woody accord, classic, made of cedar, sandalwood and vetiver, as usual. It is relatively far from the "insolence of youth combined with invigorating freshness" promised by the press release.

After a first variation Cologne Sport version that we would almost suspect of wanting to be inspired by Dior Chanel with his saga Allure Homme (three out of four variants in the top 30). Slanderous or am I? One has to only look for the latest Allure Homme Edition Blanche with the Dior Homme Sport, both located side by side on the shelves of new stores to establish a clear conclusion. Chanel succeeds or there, with the talent of Jacques Polge and Chris Sheldrake, create a real sensual fragrance and elegant, Demachy Francis , former Chanel and new artistic director at LVMH-perfumer was obviously not as lucky. Besides lemon juicy, complex and creamy Chanel, the latest Dior looks really suffer from a crucial lack of budget.

Copy no guarantee that rarely successful, especially when one does not give itself sufficient means. Finally, it all depends on what means we speak, so that Chanel still favors the contents of the bottle, LVMH still seems to prefer his marbles on communication, as evidenced by the spot with Jude Law (who also inspired him a little the same spot Allure Homme Sport, right?).
