Comme des Garcons 2 Man - Comme Des Garcons

The fragrant world of the Japanese brand Comme des Garcons has, since its founding in 1973 by Rei Kawakubo, like clothing designer: avant-garde, unconventional, confusing, unique.

Comme des Garcons 2 Man is certainly not the most provocative or destabilizing the mark, but it is fairly representative of the olfactory world, bringing together the different elements that are found more or less implicit in most references and series launched since the first Comme des Garcons in 1994 and now very numerous. A dark, intriguing and contradictory, giving an impression of both natural and synthetic, abstract and figurative. Plastics and resins, spices and metal, leather and tar.

Comme des Garcons 2 Man is primarily a fragrance for lovers (and lovers) of woody smoke, reminiscent of the atmospheres of chimney fires in the countryside and undergrowth in autumn, as M7 or Gucci for Men. But not only. Spicy notes (cumin, nutmeg, saffron) mix from the start to aldehydes in a fusing effect, metallic and medicinal and incense, which plunges us into a mystical atmosphere of an old church. Vetiver and leather come to us gradually, reinforcing the impression of smoke hot and sticky animal and complex.

It is a fragrance that is appropriated, with the small satisfaction of having the feeling of being alone can appreciate it, tame it, pass it, because it is different, strange, and perhaps also because in some ways, it bothers?
