Zino by Davidoff

First men's fragrance emblematic of the famous brand of cigar, and bearing the name of its founder, Zino perfectly embodies what one would expect of such a sign: a perfume dark, dense, classic, very masculine, almost macho even.

Starting with a conventional aromatic bouquet, peppermint, lavender and sage, extended by agreement of floral geranium and jasmine, it seems at first glance look like any traditional ferns of his generation. Only after a few minutes dimension sulfurous surfaced. A bitter hot and humid evokes the smell of a cigar box, transcribed with notes of rock rose, Costus, patchouli and vanilla, supported by sandalwood and cedar. A duality fresh and hot coexists in this box, as if the precious cigars were wrapped in sage leaves and sprigs of lavender. The Costus, which is also found in the male , always gives that little aspect a little animal, on the edge of discomfort, but on the other hand brings a dimension highly sensual and carnal, like a smell of moist skin.

Zino, qu'olfactivement very well labeled 80 (but probably less than his cousin Kouros , the same fragrance) may however be surprised by its unique signature, ambitious and always elegant, like the man who introduced Europeans to the joys the cigar.
