212 - Carolina Herrera, male fresh and easy to wear

New York-based designer of Venezuelan origin came out in 1999 his second men's fragrance, with the code name for the area code for New York in tribute to his city.

Can easily be cataloged at first quickly done well in the crowded category of "male fresh and easy to wear", 212 but contains a few interesting aspects that set it apart from the crowd.

It looks a bit like a Fahrenheit who drowned in a cucumber juice and citrus spices. The start is very green and citrus, with an effect not ripe banana skin, rather creaky. Then the spices arrive at a gallop: nutmeg, ginger and pepper, to meet the initial freshness with a touch spicy and warming. The violet leaf, with its note aqueous and powdered green, crosses the scent like a thread from the top notes to the bottom, which is evolving towards a woody accord of sandalwood smoke, incense and musk.

A good alternative to Acqua di Gio , and Fahrenheit to have the cool one while enjoying the original signature of the other.
